Job description

To prepare the detailed factory weekly/monthly Production plan based upon available forecast /actual sales order requirements.
�Produce Master Production Schedule to establish effective utilization of the processing assets.
�Monitor plan through its cycle communicating where necessary any changes to the respective departments.
�Review machine performances and recommended changes to run rates in conjunction with the processing and manufacturing departments.
�Ensure all agreed service levels are achieved to both internal and external customers.
�Communicate any exceptions promptly to allow for alternative supply.

Responsibilities
�Provide practical plan at daily production meeting which meets the order fulfilment requirements and report on plan fulfilment from previous production day
�Ensure 100% optimization of processing equipment.
�Minimise Non- conformance and concessions by ensuring every filling plan adhering to the norms and standard outlined by standard operating procedures.
�Ensure farming meet agreed planned weights/volumes and raise any variances directly
�Maximise plan fulfilment through plan that matches incoming raw material to labour/equipment utilisation in factory
�Ensure packaging requirements are sufficient to fulfil daily plan and immediately flag up any potential variances to FM/Senior Stock Controller
�Where bird weights/volumes from farming vary liaise with sales/PM to agree change to orders

Activities
�Prepare the detailed Processing plan based upon sales requirements, promotional requirements, and raw material supply and company inventory guidelines.
�Develop a weekly schedule that utilizes labour, material and machinery in a efficient and cost conscious manner.
�Liaise with supply planning team to ensure raw materials or components are available in a timelymanner required for production and adjust plans and schedules as necessary.
�Use short term interval controls to flag up any variances to production team on a 2 hourly basis to keep plan in line
�Coordinate and communicate all plans, schedules, changes and modifications to appropriate personnel in the supply planning and production departments.
�Report and review machine performance with the Team Members &relevant management using a system of key indicators.
�Where variances/shortages to order will occur liase communicate to sales directly
�Controlling, monitoring and planning of production to ensure efficient & timely delivery, distraction of poultry products for picking and loading.
�Liaise with Production team to maximise production schedules based on available manpower.
�Maintain excellent team-oriented working relationships among all Poultry employees.
�Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines and behaviours.
�Processing Planner has to cover for Senior Planning Officer in case of holidays.
�Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
�Cover Senior Planning Officer role as and when necessary.
