Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in our aluminum production facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aluminum processing (such as extrusion, casting, rolling, or fabrication), along with strong leadership and operational management skills. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage all production activities in the aluminum manufacturing unit.

  • Ensure production targets are met with respect to quantity, quality, and timeline.

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily work of production staff and machine operators.

  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes including aluminum extrusion, casting, anodizing, machining, or fabrication.

  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.

  • Maintain optimal resource utilization including raw materials, labor, and machinery.

  • Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.

  • Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.

  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure minimal equipment downtime.

  • Lead training and development programs for production staff to enhance skills and performance.

  • Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.

  • 510 years of production management experience in the aluminum or metal fabrication industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of aluminum production processes such as extrusion, rolling, anodizing, or die-casting.

  • Proven track record of managing shop floor teams and achieving operational targets.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement techniques.

  • Proficient in production planning tools and ERP systems.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
