Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company with a strong reputation in Saudi Arabia. They have strong expansion plans for 2013, presenting exciting opportunities for strong Managers to be involved in this business. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to be based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

JOB OVERVIEW
Full responsibility for organizing, directing, and managing the production departments within the company to manufacture the defined product mix, meet quality standards, and achieve cost targets.
Reporting to: Technical Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maximize production and efficiency
2. Oversee all day-to-day operations within Hot End, Cold End, Batch Plant, and Sizing departments
3. Own all aspects of production management including Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Waste, and Cost
4. Analyze and evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of production methods and techniques utilized and manpower allocation
5. Recruit, develop, and challenge a highly motivated, technically competent, and loyal team that can deliver results and grow into additional responsibility and leadership in the organization
6. Assure that training plans are in place and utilized for all departmental employees to assure the safe and proper production of materials
7. Develop and manage departmental budgets and meet financial, quality, and safety goals
8. Identify cost savings opportunities and investments to improve return on investment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. 15-20 years of successful production experience with increasing management responsibility
2. At least 5 years experience working in Glass Fiber Production and glass fiber manufacturing
3. Sound overview of glass fiber business, end uses, applications, costing, and economics
4. Knowledge of engineering aspects of glass fiber manufacturing
5. University level Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering or Science
6. Open to Western Applicants only

BENEFITS

Salary to be used as a guide only and will depend on experience levels and interview performance. As a guide, basic monthly salary is in the range of SAR 20K-40K per month / $65 – 125K USD per annum plus benefits.
