The opportunity
To build as an Optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Work the best to achieve the plant production goals. Implement the highest standard of lean production with flow production line. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff and establish a professional team-working environment.

How you’ll make an impact
Defines the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
Introduction of new processes and products to production.
Leading the ramping up activities of new processes and products production.
Responsible for developing Jigs and tools and making sure that they are all in the right place.
Responsible for creating work instructions and standardizing the process.
Provides support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start up, participates in the definition of action plans, training relevant maintenance and production teams, and other support activities.
Instruct, coach and train co-workers & shop floor staff in Lean (manufacturing) and new processes.
Evaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices.
Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases and the related methods and cycle times.
Work on process documentation, KPIs, traceability parameters, maintenance-, safety Instructions.
Ensure that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management (SCM teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier Agreements).
Responsible for leading the Top (Transfer of Product and Technology) activities in terms of operations level (Assembly & Testing).
Responsible to develop suppliers for Jigs/ Fixtures and creating purchase requisition via IP portal and manual purchase requisition through SAP.
Leading the 5S and Kaizen approach and make sure to be implemented.
Ensures appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.
Identifies and recommend improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
Ensures the production process complies with the project targets.
Apply lean tools and techniques in the GPS framework.
Employees shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by the direct manager to fulfil the job requirements.

Your background
Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
5-7 years’ experience in Production/Manufacturing/Fabrication environment.
In depth understanding of lean concepts and applying lean six sigma tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
MES (Manufacturing Execution System) expertise.
SAP expertise and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Hands-on application of manufacturing methodologies and tools.
Excellent verbal & written communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group across a global business.
Good training/presentation skills and experience training production staff in a classroom or shopfloor environment and strong leadership skills.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
