Develop structured trade finance products, including off-balance sheet solutions for Receivables and Inventory.
Develop new trade finance products through working closely with relationship management, legal, compliance, operations, risk, financial control etc to complete the new product approval to achieve overall business target.
Develop solutions for financing of receivables on a non-recourse basis. Such solutions to include a range of scenarios from a full assignment to a “silent” purchase.
Develop factoring and forfaiting products.
Develop expertise on various credit insurance covers that are available and develop products for financing of receivables with such cover.
Develop inventory financing solutions tailored to each client that would enable clients to finance the inventory without including in the balance sheet.
Prepare / write product program for each of the new products for necessary internal approval, setting out standardized approach to various product parameters, including pricing, risk criteria, exposure level, target market, approval process, etc.
Provide advisory services to the client in coordination with the Relationship Management in structuring of complex trade finance products.
Identify target market for each product and train the Relationship Managers in identification of opportunities.
Preparing reporting system for such products, working closely with IT, Operations, Financial Control etc.
Maintain / monitor MIS on the utilization of such products, outstanding volumes, profitability etc.
Maintain up to date awareness of competitor activity, market trends and market knowledge economic/political factors that affect the market.
Work on any other assignment that may be assigned by the line manager from time to time.
5-10 years in structured trade products.
Experience in business development for trade finance products.
Holder of University Degree, preferably in the field of banking and finance.
Preferably experience in GCC region.
Sound people management capabilities are required, along with excellent communication skills in English.
Result driven, hands on, dynamic with ability to work under sales oriented environment.
Should have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and should be a good negotiator.
