Job summary

A leading healthcare company in Jeddah is seeking a Product Specialist to promote and sell its products to new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field and 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales. Bilingual in Arabic and English, the candidate will excel in consultative sales and maintain strong client relationships. A KSA Driving License and own car are required for this role.

Job Description

Promoting and selling the company's products to new and existing customers by visiting them regularly. The Product Specialist's tasks also involve performing certain after-sales support functions such as conducting in-service training, following up on collections, and maintaining good relationships with customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform consultative sales with prospecting clients to identify or create the need for Imdad products and update customers on product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
  2. Schedule appointments and meet with existing and new customers to promote Imdad’s products and identify other opportunities.
  3. Generate and develop new client accounts.
  4. Perform professional demonstrations or presentations of company products or services at customer sites, applying successful negotiation and sales closure techniques.
  5. Provide detailed information about new prospects and clients, including ownership, relevant medical personnel, equipment, and status; update customer database accordingly.
  6. Submit weekly sales and marketing reports in a timely manner.
  7. Assist in following up on accounts receivables for responsible sales accounts.
  8. Maintain excellent relationships with key decision-makers, doctors, and customer personnel, working to enhance these relations.
  9. Use company’s sales aids and marketing data effectively to secure deals.
  10. Attend conferences and workshops effectively.
  11. Perform professional in-service training for end-users on system applications.
  12. Stay aware of market trends, competitor activities, events, and pricing changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioscience, Nursing, Chemistry, Veterinary, or other scientific fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; dermatology experience is a plus.
  • KSA-based candidates with transferable Iqama.
  • KSA Driving License and own car.
