Job Title: Product Security Manager

Job Purpose

BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements providing equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We maintain Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in a safe training environment on aircraft, equipment, and weapons.

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and developing Saudi National capabilities through the growth of Saudi National Partner Companies, thereby reinforcing industrialization and partnerships.

The main objective for the Product Security Manager is to establish and maintain the Salam Product Security Management System. Key responsibilities include ensuring the system's continuous improvement, managing product security risks, providing guidance on product security, and facilitating training and awareness across the Salam Programme.

Job Accountabilities
  1. Establish and maintain the Salam Product Security Management System in accordance with the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Functional Governance Manual.
  2. Manage the Salam Product Security Management System across projects, ensuring:
  • Effective review, assessment, and management of product security risks.
  • Identification and management of product security requirements.
  • Products are secure by design supported by appropriate assurance evidence.
  • Timely assessment and response to Product Security Alerts.
  • Investigation and action on Product Security Incidents.
  • Effective escalation and cascade of Product Integrity Reporting.
  • Ensure evidence demonstrates products meet contractual and regulatory security requirements.
  • Apply Product Security Processes/Procedures effectively across the programme.
  • Continuously improve the Product Security Management System through collaboration.
  • Conduct peer reviews of engineering artefacts to ensure security is addressed, including risk logs, management plans, and review actions.
  • Promote Product Security Training across the programme.
  • Provide coaching and advice to engineering teams on product security.
  • Establish and monitor a Product Security Metrics Framework.
  • Provide quarterly compliance statements supporting assurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Core Engineering Audit Programme.
  • Act as an LCM Design Review Assessor on other projects.
  • Support the KSA Engineering Council Product Security Working Group.
  • Recruitment Specification
    • Extensive experience in an engineering or technical role, preferably with management experience.
    • Working towards Chartered Engineer status with relevant professional institutions.
    • Experience in developing engineering management frameworks for compliance.
    • Experience managing risks in product security, safety, environmental, cyber, information, or physical security.
    • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, focusing on product design, development, procurement, and delivery.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Good understanding of security standards.
    • ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor knowledge is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of IM&T, cyber, information security, and software engineering is advantageous.
