Job Purpose

To ensure that technical products meet customer needs, are effectively marketed, and are successfully positioned in the marketplace. This role bridges the gap between product development teams and sales/marketing teams by understanding both the technical aspects of the product and the needs of the target market, ensuring correct positioning and effective communication.

Key Accountability Areas

  1. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products. Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify areas for product improvement and new opportunities. Provide insights to the product development team regarding market demands and potential areas for innovation.
  2. Sales Enablement & Support: Provide technical expertise to sales teams through product demonstrations, presentations, and training materials. Support sales with technical queries, customer objections, and effective product positioning.
  3. Product Launches & Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with product management, sales, and marketing teams. Ensure smooth launches aligned with overall strategies.
  4. Customer & Technical Support: Collaborate with customer support to provide technical assistance, gather feedback, and suggest improvements. Develop FAQs and troubleshooting materials for customers and internal teams.
  5. Content Creation & Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and online resources. Write technical content for blogs, case studies, and marketing materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and design teams to align marketing materials with product features. Communicate new features effectively to the market.
  7. Customer Feedback & Product Improvements: Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product updates and feature prioritization.
  8. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' products and strategies to identify opportunities and threats, providing intelligence to shape development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
  • 2 to 5 years of work experience
