Job Overview
The Product Manager, Automotive is responsible for shaping and managing Starlinks’ automotive product portfolio of logistics and transportation services, ensuring services align with the needs of importers, dealers, fleets, parts distributors, and government accounts. The role focuses on defining the right service mix, customer experience standards, and cross-functional readiness to support growth in the vertical.
Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Commercial Ownership:
- Define the product roadmap for automotive logistics services in line with market demand.
- Support revenue growth and profitability through differentiated offerings.
- Align services with emerging industry and consumer trends, while aligning with company strategy and business priorities
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations to align customer and market needs with existing capabilities, while identifying and addressing service gaps.
- Partner with Finance on costing, pricing, and margin visibility.
- Support the Commercial teams with product value propositions, service narratives, and collateral tailored to the portfolio and its customers.
Service Catalogue & Customer Value:
- Maintain a clear catalogue of automotive logistics solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance or expand service categories.
- Ensure services meet customer needs across import, distribution, and aftersales.
Digital Integration & Tech Enablement:
- Define tech and integration requirements based on customer and market needs.
- Prioritize digital capabilities that enable scalability, visibility, and customer value.
- Collaborate with Tech teams to ensure solutions align with the product roadmap.
Customer Experience & Differentiation:
- Define customer experience standards for the vertical in line with brand and market expectations.
- Identify and prioritize gaps in service experience to inform roadmap decisions.
- Benchmark Starlinks’ offerings against industry best practices and translate them into differentiated offerings.
Data, Analysis & Performance:
- Track performance metrics such as SLA adherence and utilization.
- Use insights to recommend service improvements.
- Contribute to business cases for investment decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years in product, operations, or commercial roles within automotive logistics or supply chain.
