Job description

Purpose of the job

To manage all project processes from idea to market in collaboration with project owners (Marketing Managers), providing guidance and support across functions to ensure timely delivery within quality, cost, and target parameters.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Project Process Management

Manage cross-functional processes from the Product Development brief to project milestones, feedback, design, cost, timing, and feasibility assessments during development and execution stages. Ensure timely submission of documents, facilitate Project Alignment Meetings and Teleconferences, and update the Innovation Funnel for management meetings.

  1. Tracking & Communication

Review project status regularly, communicate challenges promptly, lead discussions on actions and priorities, and facilitate issue resolution. Document meeting minutes, next steps, responsible members, and manage post-evaluation data collection to share learnings with management.

  1. Reporting

Monitor product portfolio, suggest portfolio management actions, ensure data accuracy in the company's system, and track project delivery and workload for the Head of Marketing.

  1. Finished Goods Master Data Management

Manage finished goods data and coordinate stakeholders for innovations and project-related code changes.

  1. Packaging Artwork Management

Lead the design-to-print process, report variances in project costs, and facilitate solutions within the project team.

  1. Relationship Management

Communicate project plans, timelines, and change objectives to manufacturing and internal teams, resolve cross-departmental issues, and promote a team-based approach.

  1. Operating Environment

Interact primarily with Marketing, with additional collaboration across functions and external suppliers. Influence across many functions is essential for managing diverse and complex projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum; Master’s preferred in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Food Technology, or Chemistry.
  • At least 10 years of relevant FMCG industry experience, with 5+ years in a multinational FMCG company in a similar role (e.g., Product Change Manager).
  • Proven cross-functional project management experience with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and follow-up.
  • Practical, proactive attitude.
  • Financial literacy to interpret financial data.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
