Job Description

The Support Clerk in Produce Support Value Added primarily works in Receiving and on the Produce sales floor. Responsibilities include receiving produce deliveries, providing direct customer service during store hours, and managing various tasks such as organizing the cooler, sanitation, housekeeping, trimming, packaging, stocking, merchandising, building displays, rotation, and scale work. The role also involves incidental prep work, traying, wrapping, moving stock, handling special orders, and re-wraps.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Availability: Must be available to work 35+ hours per week, including nights and weekends, as per department needs.
2. Experience: Familiarity with produce merchandise and equipment is preferred.
3. Physical Demands: Repetitive lifting to 50 lbs; occasional lifting to 80 lbs.
4. Other Considerations: Customer relations skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; task prioritization; reliability and dependability.
