PROCURMENT ANALYST -

JOB PURPOSE:

Under the supervision of the Procurement Manager, support the Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics Departments for Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling (SANAD) by coordinating supply chain activities related to SANAD’s rigs, in accordance with SANAD’s policies and procedures.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports with scheduled data refreshes.
  • Perform data analysis, ETL processes, and data modeling using SQL for data warehousing and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and deliver insightful reports to support business functions.
  • Collaborate with accounting for accurate financial reporting and manage business intelligence projects.
  • Analyze vendor performance based on metrics such as on-time delivery, order fulfillment, and spend.
  • Create and manage MIS reports, automate reports on past-due/delayed lines, and track cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide timely reporting, analysis, and insights on Supply Chain costs, including budgeting, actuals, and forecasts.
  • Evaluate vendor bids and quotations, assisting in the bidding process.
  • Manage daily purchasing operations, including planning, issuing, tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and shipments.
  • Monitor purchasing efficiency through reports.
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual delivery terms and resolve issues related to supply, quality, service, and invoicing.
  • Maintain supplier and item master data within the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Support Functions, and Warehouse teams to ensure continuous material supply.
  • Manage procurement-related documents and oversee rig inventory control processes.
  • Ensure procurement and warehouse transactions are completed timely and accurately.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage open PO lines, working with the Receiving Team to ensure timely receipt and close-out.
  • Identify obsolete and slow-moving materials, assisting the Warehouse Team to optimize inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting SANAD’s other business units.
  • Participate in routine safety and quality checks and inspections.
  • Prioritize health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Proactively seek relevant information and stay updated with company and role developments.
  • Evaluate process effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Assist in ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained across all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant procurement, warehouse, inventory, and logistics management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of making difficult decisions and effectively communicating with senior management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Warehouse Management Software.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Mandatory: Higher secondary certificate.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a relevant field.
