Job description

Purpose:

Oversee all aspects of the supply chain function, including procurement, contract and tendering activities, inventory management, and vendor management to support the company objectives and operational needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to and monitor the work of team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Track and report performance results of organizational units and escalate business-related issues to senior management.
  • Develop strategic procurement plans and budgets, overseeing their implementation in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and update procurement and contract management policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulations.
  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and execution, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Evaluate and select vendors, ensuring compliance with requirements and service levels.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, including performance evaluation, negotiations, and cost management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and contracts.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to drive cost savings and value optimization.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, systems, and practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing & Procurement, or related fields.
  • Over 15 years of experience in the related field, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Purchasing & Procurement, or related fields (Preferred).
