Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our contracting company in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be an engineer with strong connections to suppliers, deep industry knowledge, and expertise in sourcing materials and services for construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all procurement activities align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the procurement process for all materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure the best prices and terms.
  3. Identify new suppliers and evaluate their reliability, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  4. Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules and budget constraints.
  5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand material requirements and project specifications.
  6. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and advancements in technology.
  8. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations.
  9. Prepare and manage procurement reports, track inventory, and forecast material needs for future projects.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in procurement within the contracting or construction industry, particularly in Riyadh.
  3. Strong connections with suppliers in the industry.
  4. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services.
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  7. Familiarity with MS Office tools.
