Overview

Manage procurement cycles, source suppliers, utilize ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, Oracle), ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain vendor relationships. Role requires strong procurement, contracting, and supplier management skills across industries such as electromechanical, oil and gas, and construction; native Arabic speaker preferred in some postings.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes including supplier sourcing, purchase orders, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, manage category sourcing, and oversee procurement operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Negotiate terms, monitor vendor performance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams (logistics, inventory) to support project needs.
  • Manage procurement for technical goods and materials, including scheduling, records maintenance, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Coordinate with drilling, construction, or infrastructure teams as needed to support large-scale projects; monitor inventory and material delivery.
  • Lead and mentor procurement staff where applicable and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage digital procurement tools and ERP systems to streamline processes and reporting.
  • Assist in proposal development, budgeting, and risk assessment related to procurement and contracts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Procurement experience with supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor management; ISO or other quality standards familiarity is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, Oracle) and procurement software; ability to manage procurement documentation and compliance.
  • Location preferences include Dammam/Khobar/Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia; other postings may exist.
