A leading company in water distribution is seeking a Procurement Manager in Jeddah to oversee purchasing practices and supplier relations within a growing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations while employing their strategic thinking skills to enhance procurement processes. This role is ideal for someone with a solid educational background and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in using Odoo ERP system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records / Coordinate with warehouse.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts/ negotiate terms.
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers/ Supply searching & sourcing.
  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
  • Master data management/ Suppliers Registration/ Suppliers’ validation/ Suppliers’ listing / Performance evaluation.
  • Prepare agreements.
  • Obtain quotations/Quotation analysis.
  • PR receipt / Prepare & Issue POs/ PO closure/ Obtain POs approvals/ Follow-up deliveries.
  • Coordination with user dept.
  • Logistic / Prepare custom documents/ Insurance/SABER requirement.
  • Manage returns.
  • Warranties & claims.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Accounting, Business Management or a relevant field).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Must have experience in using Odoo ERP system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
