Job summary

A leading company in trading and contracting is seeking a Procurement Quality Control Supervisor. The role ensures compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, oversees procurement activities, and conducts quality assessments. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 10-15 years of experience in project management, particularly within pipeline construction projects.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Saudi Aramco approval is mandatory as PQCS in Mega EPC/LSTK Project.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Project Management for construction projects.

Job description

ABDULRAHMAN AL BADER SONS CO. FOR TRADING AND CONTRACTING CO.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with Aramco standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments of procured materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines. (IAP-Inspection Assignment Packages, FDRS, Follow-up of IRN, SPDP packages etc..)
  • Verify all Inspection requirements are included in MR and applicable SAMSS, SAEPs, as per Saudi Aramco requirements.
  • Shall check all Saudi Inspection related comments are well incorporated in MR. Any violation to the requirements shall be immediately discussed with QA Manager and If necessary shall issue internal NCR to prevent the issue from re-occurrence.
  • Shall Supervise and Monitor activities of Procurement and Material controller to ensure planned activities are moving as per Saudi Aramco requirements for timely delivery.
  • Jointly review with Project Manager, Project QA Manager the compliance of the work as per SAMSS, SAES, SAEP and Quality requirements specified in the project scope of work & as per Schedule Q
  • To investigate the Root Cause with manufacturer and vendors and jointly review with PQS and engineering recommended solutions to prevent recurrence of the Non Conformance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and Saudi Aramco standards related to procurement and quality control. Especially Schedule Q & G Requirements.
  • Not more than 51 years old.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Saudi Aramco approval is mandatory as PQCS in Mega EPC/LSTK Project (Oil & Gas).
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools, such as ERP systems and quality management software. Computer Literate
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project.
  • Supervise and manage the procurement quality control team.
  • Proven experience with Aramco procurement processes and standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a valid light vehicle driving license.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.


EXPERIENCE:
  • 10-15 years experiences in Project Management for the construction of Pipeline Projects, Civil, Electro-Mechanical, Industrial, specially in Saudi Aramco's Pipeline Projects/Cross country Pipeline projects in Saudi Arabia.
