Procurement Officer

• Compares and evaluates offers from suppliers.
• Tracks orders and ensures timely delivery.
• Enters order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into the system.
• Maintains updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Reviews the quality of purchased products.
• Monitors stock levels and places orders as needed.
• Secures all needed documents related to local and foreign orders.
• Follows up with the Logistic department to confirm shipping documents and clearance status.
• Ensures adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
• Adheres to all organization policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of proven experience in Procurement and Purchasing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or any related field.
• In-depth product knowledge. Heavy industry experience is a must (Cement, Glass, Steel, Gypsum).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
• English and Arabic are a must, in addition to prevailing local language.
• Understanding of market research methods and analysis.
• Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
• Knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with good analytical and strategic thinking.
• Accurate and precise attention to detail. Well organized and goal oriented.
• Ability to inspire and motivate people, delegate tasks, and supervise others.
