Job summary

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement aligned with project specifications.
- Review and analyze project BOQs (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and drawings to determine procurement requirements.
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations), compare technical and commercial offers, and recommend suitable suppliers.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams to ensure alignment on procurement timelines and budget controls.
- Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and resolve any delays or non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and contract documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and local procurement regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement within the MEP contracting or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP materials, systems, and market suppliers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and procurement software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
