Job Opportunity: Procurement Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager in the Red Sea region, on a remote location.

About the Job:
  • Manage business operations through cost-effective procurement and delivery of products and services.
  • Handle the day-to-day sourcing of new products.
  • Prepare product comparisons, including sampling when appropriate.
  • Monitor supplier performance, implement corrective actions, and advise on business risks.
  • Arrange and manage quarterly HOD meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for cost and price reductions.
  • Propose and implement revenue-generating initiatives where appropriate.
  • Process and expedite purchase orders using the company's procurement system, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare accurate statistical and other reports.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions for continuous contract development.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university postgraduate degree or Master's in Materials Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with reputable procurement software.
