Procurement Manager Job Description

The Procurement Manager will oversee and manage the overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee a team of procurement professionals, guiding supplier selection and negotiation to meet the organization's procurement goals.
2. Implement procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
3. Source and negotiate with potential suppliers.
4. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure efficiency.
5. Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records.
6. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience in international sourcing and procurement management.
2. Expertise in long-lead project procurement and supplier negotiations.
3. Strong analytical skills to determine industry and consumer trends.
4. Ability to establish long-term partnerships with direct distributors.
