Job Overview

An exciting position has arisen to work for a large catering organisation in Saudi as their Procurement Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Vendor management
  2. Vendor negotiation
  3. Contract management and design
  4. Cost negotiation
  5. Building relationships with suppliers
  6. Management of the purchasing officers
  7. Report management information regarding cost
  8. Strategic sourcing
  9. Buying
  10. Visiting the suppliers and assessing them
  11. Dealing with the purchasing of perishable goods
Candidate Requirements

Candidates must be currently based in Saudi. You will ideally be from a food service background, hotel background, or catering service background. You will have contacts within the field regarding the supply of food and perishable goods. The following qualifications are essential:

  1. Excellent communicator
  2. Solid negotiator with cost
  3. Solid vendor management background
  4. Experience of reporting on Excel and Word
  5. Comfortable dealing with senior management
  6. Excellent English skills
  7. Able to transfer visas within Saudi
