On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Procurement Manager.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager is expected to have a solid standing in the industry, especially within Saudi Arabia, and maintain a well-established network of suppliers. Moreover, they should excel in recognizing top suppliers and competitive prices in the Saudi market, coupled with prior exposure to technical office operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and drive cost efficiency.
  2. Source and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  3. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements for the organization.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier partnerships to expand the network.
  5. Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  6. Collaborate with the technical office to evaluate technical requirements and determine the best suppliers for specific project needs.
  7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in a contracting company, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, restructuring, architectural, or infrastructural projects.
  2. Strong reputation in the market, particularly within the Saudi market, with a well-established supplier network.
  3. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure advantageous terms and pricing from suppliers.
  4. Knowledge of market trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier capabilities in the Saudi market.
  5. Experience working in the technical office to assess technical requirements and identify suitable suppliers.
  6. Strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate supplier options and make strategic procurement decisions.
