- Establish and maintain a reliable vendor database, evaluating suppliers for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and quality.
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Manage the tendering process, including preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.
- Implement and oversee a structured purchase order management system to effectively track procurement activities.
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports on key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead risk management initiatives to address supply chain disruptions and mitigate potential project delays.
- Drive digital transformation within the procurement function by adopting procurement management tools and systems.
- Provide training and mentorship to the procurement team to enhance skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in real estate development or construction projects.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement standards and best practices.
