Hiring Procurement Manager.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations for our MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of MEP systems, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain logistics. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and industry-specific procurement expertise to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement Planning:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Forecast demand for materials and services to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
- Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors in the MEP domain.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal value.
- Cost Control & Budget Management:
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonable prices.
- Contract Management:
- Prepare and review contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of MEP components.
- Maintain procurement schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Inventory & Logistics Oversight:
- Work with warehousing and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and material delivery schedules.
- Monitor and resolve delivery or quality issues with suppliers.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Generate regular procurement reports for management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of procurement experience in the MEP or Fire Fighting Projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP materials, systems, and equipment.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and cost control.
- Familiarity with procurement ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP or Procurement Certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
- Experience with international sourcing and customs regulations.
- Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices.
