Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations for our MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of MEP systems, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain logistics. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and industry-specific procurement expertise to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Procurement Planning:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Forecast demand for materials and services to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors in the MEP domain.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal value.
  • Cost Control & Budget Management:
  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonable prices.
  • Contract Management:
  • Prepare and review contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of MEP components.
  • Maintain procurement schedules aligned with project milestones.
  • Inventory & Logistics Oversight:
  • Work with warehousing and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and material delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and resolve delivery or quality issues with suppliers.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate regular procurement reports for management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of procurement experience in the MEP or Fire Fighting Projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP materials, systems, and equipment.
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiation and cost control.
  • Familiarity with procurement ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or Procurement Certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Experience with international sourcing and customs regulations.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with frequent site visits.
  • Fast-paced and deadline-driven construction project environment.
