Job Summary:
As Purchasing Lead, you will be responsible for managing daily procurement activities while maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will analyze purchasing and pricing trends to support demand forecasting and cost optimization. Your analytical skills will provide valuable insights to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions that align with business goals. You will engage with suppliers to strengthen commercial advantage, ensuring compliance with quality and strategic initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITY:
- Lead sourcing and purchasing negotiations.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for supplier changes and spend optimization.
- Collaborate with procurement team to manage expectations and improve internal customer satisfaction.
- Ensure operational and production needs are met through procurement activities.
- Manage contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and contract execution.
- Achieve targets related to cost savings, efficiency, and service quality.
- Align category buying strategies with internal stakeholders.
- Draft and adjust purchasing contracts with stakeholder input.
- Manage organization-wide agreements within assigned categories.
- Identify and implement continuous procurement improvements.
- Track and report on Value for Money initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional sourcing projects.
- Analyze data to support procurement initiatives and increase agreement uptake.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety, and quality standards.
- Meet relevant KPIs.
- Travel as needed for procurement activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Degree in supply chain or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
