Job summary

A leading company in the EPC sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer for a prestigious project under Saudi Aramco. The role involves managing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with project specifications and Saudi Aramco requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, strong negotiation skills, and significant experience in procurement within EPC projects, particularly in Oil & Gas.

Qualifications

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team for a prestigious EPC project under Saudi Aramco. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services in compliance with project requirements and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, and order placement.

Review project specifications, datasheets, and vendor offers to ensure compliance.

Maintain vendor relationships and ensure performance as per quality and delivery commitments.

Ensure adherence to Saudi Aramco procurement procedures and documentation requirements.

Track and report procurement status to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical).

Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement roles within EPC projects, especially in Oil & Gas.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco specifications and procurement systems.

Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.

Knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
