Primary Responsibilities :

Responsibilities:
• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier referencing study.
• Develop, implement, and drive procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
• Manage suppliers to meet cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Ability to outsource the business unit of products and services through exploring new technology and costeffective subcontractors in local and oversee markets.
• Has capability to contextual understand technical specifications and designs developed by technical team.
• Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
• Analyze all suppliers to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at
competitive pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the
company.
• Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
• Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
• Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.
• Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
• Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled in correctly and that goods meet
specifications.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the offer/ option among potential vendors
and suppliers.
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and
other problems.
• Locate suppliers and/ or subcontractors, using different sources such as catalogs and the internet, and
interview them to gather information about products and services to be ordered.
• Has the ability to create benchmarks for all the required items of business unit’s scope.
• Backstopping to estimation team to reach business competitiveness by exploring quotations edges.
• Support in identifying areas for improvements and communicating these issues with possible solutions to
the management
