proactiveProcurement Consultant – IT Subject Matter Expert (SME)to
join our team in Saudi Arabia. The Procurement Business Partner (IT SME) serves
as the key link between the IT department and the procurement function,
ensuring that all IT-related services, solutions, hardware, software, and
football-specific technologies are properly aligned and integrated into the
overall procurement plan for LOC. This role combines strong IT domain
expertise, deep knowledge of venue technology and football technologies (e.g.,
VAR, goal-line systems, broadcast, connectivity), and procurement experience to
translate the tournament’s IT needs into actionable procurement deliverables.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Identify, consolidate, and prioritize IT needs related to venue technology (e.g., connectivity, access control, perimeter security, spectator services, Wi-Fi, IPTV) and football technologies (e.g., VAR systems, goal-line technology, broadcast and media systems, match data capture) for procurement action.
  
• Ensure that all IT procurement requirements are aligned with the tournament IT roadmap and properly documented for inclusion in the annual procurement plan.
  
• Serve as the IT subject matter expert (SME) within the procurement team, providing insights on technical specifications, vendor landscape, and technology trends relevant to football events.
  
• Participate in cross-functional planning meetings to monitor progress on IT and venue technology projects, ensuring procurement timelines meet tournament deadlines.
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Education:A Bachelor’s degreein Procurement, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Experience:At least 5 years of experience in procurement with a strong focus on IT products and services.
  
• Skills:You should have a deepunderstanding of IT categories such as software, hardware, SaaS, cloud services, and IT support contracts.Experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, legal, finance) on procurement strategies.
