Job description

Procurement Assistant Manager:

  • Lead and manage Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation projects and enhancements, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
  • Work closely with business users to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Experience working with Saudi Government Procurement processes and regulations.
  • Design and implement solutions based on best practices and business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other Oracle Fusion modules and external systems.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new implementations and system upgrades.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and resolving functional and technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in financial period closing processes, ensuring that all procurement systems operate effectively during the close.
  • Create and deliver end-user training and documentation to ensure a smooth adoption of the system by the procurement team.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for custom report development, data migration, interfaces, and customizations when necessary.
  • Manage ongoing system enhancements, change requests, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor Oracle patches and updates, coordinating with technical teams for testing and implementation.
  • Stay current on Oracle Fusion Procurement features, releases, and enhancements to provide up-to-date recommendations for process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and end-users.
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in leading small to medium-sized implementation projects or workstreams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and changes.
