Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & International Logistics Executive to support our sourcing and international logistics operations in the cosmetics and personal care sector. Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this role is responsible for coordinating with global suppliers, managing imports, and ensuring efficient logistics for timely product availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

  • Manage purchase orders for cosmetic ingredients, raw materials, and packaging, ensuring alignment with production plans.
  • Maintain supplier records and ensure adherence to product quality and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in supplier negotiations and cost control measures in collaboration with the Procurement Lead.
  • Liaise with R&D and quality teams to support sourcing of new materials and innovation projects.
  • Monitor vendor performance on delivery, quality, and pricing.

International Logistics:

  • Coordinate international shipments (air and sea) of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Work with freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure smooth import operations into Saudi Arabia.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Monitor logistics schedules and resolve customs clearance or delivery issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi import/export laws, GSO/GCC regulations, and applicable Incoterms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement and international logistics, ideally within cosmetics or FMCG.
  • Knowledge of cosmetic ingredient sourcing and international supply chain operations.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and international shipping protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with SFDA regulations and documentation.
  • Experience managing logistics and imports in the GCC region.
  • Understanding of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.

Work Conditions:

  • Office-based in Jeddah with occasional visits to suppliers, warehouses, or ports.
  • Cross-functional coordination with procurement, regulatory, and product teams.
