Procurement and Logistics Specialist

• Ensures the necessary processes and systems exist for the buying team to execute the everyday activities.
• Ensures the flow of materials, products, services and information.
• Engages with vendors and clients and intervenes when queries from these stakeholders are escalated.
• Remains involved with the buying process by participating in the delivery of advanced components of the process including the final resolution of problems and queries.
• Ensures the necessary processes are in place to ensure continuous client satisfaction.
• Participates in the pre-sales processes and/or successes to ensure growth within the assigned portfolio.
• Works closely with internal stakeholders to create the best solution design for the client and develop procedures and systems for commercial supply chain projects ensuring commercial readiness.
• Works on strategic projects that identify risks to supply chain delivery and drive the implementation of appropriate solutions.
• Assists with any other relevant tasks as requested by management.
• Vendor order placements and follow-ups.
• Following up with logistics companies to ensure the timely hardware receipt based on the project requirement.

• Possess good knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.

• Display an analytical orientation and continually identify mechanisms for improved service delivery.

• Possess an understanding of the client’s business needs and the associated company delivery model.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant Supply Chain and Logistics certification preferred.

Required Experience:

• Seasoned experience relevant to the field within a large-scale technology services environment.
• Seasoned experience in service delivery within a supply chain environment.
