Your Job

We are hiring for a Process Engineering trainee/intern under the Process Engineering COOP training plan for our company branch in Dammam, KSA.

Our Team

Our engineering aim is to “get it right the first time”. The company specializes in combustion equipment and environmental regulations.

What You Will Do

Period: 4 months

Month 1: Orientation and Foundation
  • Objective: Gain a comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Activities:
    • Attend orientation sessions and workshops on company policies and safety protocols.
    • Learn about the company’s main products and services (Burners, Flare, Thermal Oxidizer, Vapor Recovery, Flare Gas Recovery).
    • Engage in introductory sessions with product managers and engineers.
Months 2-3: Process Engineering Engagement
  • Objective: Develop foundational skills in process engineering and understand key engineering documents.
  • Activities:
    • Shadow process engineers to learn about Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and General Arrangement Drawings (GADs).
    • Participate in training sessions on engineering calculations (hydraulics, sizing, radiation analysis, dispersion analysis).
    • Begin working on a small process engineering project to apply learned skills.
    • Understand the drafting process and its integration with engineering efforts.
Month 4: Synthesis and Application
  • Objective: Apply accumulated knowledge in a practical project and reflect on the internship experience.
  • Activities:
    • Plan and execute a mini-project synthesizing learning from previous months.
    • Prepare a comprehensive report and presentation on the mini-project and overall internship experience.
    • Present findings and reflections to mentors and peers, receiving feedback and discussing future opportunities.
