You will provide daily, international meals to a household of around 20 people. You will prepare weekly menus and will be responsible for the budgeting and purchasing of food items. You will ensure compliance with the highest quality, hygiene, and health standards.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
6 day work week;
Organization and maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen, dining room and all food storage and prep areas;
Providing breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert when necessary;
Preparing the monthly menu (in agreement with the owner);
To work independently and with minimal to little supervision;
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Able to live on the premises full time; this is a live-in position
Minimum 2 years of culinary experience
Culinary training or apprenticeship certification a plus
Knowledge of menu creation and nutritional impact
Able to maintain cost and quality standards.
Excellent communication skills, planning & organization
Proven culinary catering talent
Able to work effectively under pressure
Bachelors degree in culinary arts or related field
Willingness to work flexible hours
