Job summary

KBR seeks a Principal Technical Professional to research, design, develop and analyze specialty systems such as Signaling, Imaging, RF and Optical. You will develop requirements analysis and system architecture, supporting complex system development and documenting technical analyses.

The role requires deep knowledge, independent work with guidance only in the most complex situations, and the ability to advise multi-disciplinary teams or lead projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 7 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
• Solves complex problems and applies advanced engineering methods to design objectives.

Principal Technical Professional

Researches, designs, develops and analyzes specialty systems (such as Signaling and Imaging, Radio Frequency, Optical, etc.). Develops requirements analysis and system architecture and supports the development of complex systems. Performs analyses and prepares documentation in connection with specialty discipline. Analyzes, evaluates test and production data, prepares technical analysis, recommends engineering methods and processes required to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes. Applies research of complex systems to achieve desired outcomes. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify and recommend solutions/best practices. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives. May advise multi-disciplinary teams or run projects.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 7 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
