The Role

In this role, you will design and deliver DGM's control systems and provide ongoing customer support to ensure reliable performance and world-class customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will contribute to project delivery excellence supporting utility customers in the energy generation, transmission, and distribution industries.

Your Impact
  • Project Technical Lead working directly with external customers to deliver projects.
  • Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
  • Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements through customer communication, then coordinate with other departments as necessary.
  • Provide networking and system/application design.
  • Perform hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and testing for projects.
  • Customize system, hardware, and network configurations based on customer needs.
  • Provide customer support and assistance per contract maintenance and warranty.
  • Support technical sales activities, including presentations and product demonstrations for power systems applications.
  • Assist in creating training materials and project documentation.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong technical background in automation and computers with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS) or utility operations.
  • Experience in power systems, utility operations/dispatch, real-time control systems, client/server applications, network communications, UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in software programming and scripting (Python, C/C++).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Cassandra).
  • Experience with JSON, XML.
  • Experience with utility protocols (ICCP, DNP, MultiSpeak).
  • Experience with OSI Monarch control systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is $127,000 - $158,700, with potential for bonus or variable incentive pay. We also offer comprehensive benefits including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement plans.
