Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Principal Structural Engineer to join our growing team in KSA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of structural engineering experience, possess a deep understanding of complex structural systems, and demonstrate strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the strategic and technical direction of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the structural design and delivery of projects across various sectors (e.g., buildings, infrastructure, transport, commercial).
  2. Provide technical input throughout all project stages, from concept and feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
  3. Manage and review structural analysis and design calculations for materials such as concrete, steel, and composites.
  4. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., SBC, ACI, BS, AS).
  5. Oversee the preparation of drawings, reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
  6. Mentor and support junior and senior engineers.
  7. Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments.
  8. Engage with clients, attend meetings, and represent the company professionally.
  9. Deep understanding of structural behavior in concrete, steel, and composite systems.
  10. Lead structural design on medium to large-scale projects.
  11. Utilize advanced structural analysis and design software.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Minimum 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering.
  2. Chartered status with a recognized professional institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE, Engineers Australia) is preferred.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
