Versar Global Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Power Plant Supervisor on Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in support of the Power Production Services and Engineering Design Assistance and Construction Management program. Your Impact
- The supervisor manages resources and activities related to the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power generating and control systems. The supervisor will have knowledge of: principles of electronics and electricity, including generation, conversion, transformation, distribution, and utilization; types, capacity, and purpose of low/medium voltage circuits, circuit breakers, switches, fuses, regulators, relays, instruments, and meters associated with electric generation and distribution; interpreting instrument and meter readings; wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and technical publications; operating and maintaining internal combustion engines, generators, generating plants, distribution panels, and accessory equipment; use and purpose of test equipment; safety rules and practices; environmental policies; principles of management; and operation and repair of electrical power production systems.
- This discipline is responsible for continuous power production and supervision of power production technicians during their shift.
- This discipline attends meetings as required for projects or investigative/project development tasks.
- This discipline will be responsible for writing documents as needs are identified by the government.
- This discipline will follow all VGS standard policies and practices.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
- Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization.
- Must satisfy pre-deployment medical requirements for CENTCOM prior to OCONUS mobilization and must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating annually.
- Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Experience operating and maintaining generators up to 2.5 MW is preferred.
- Formalized training in Power Generation or OEM training in Power Plant components is preferred.
- Proactive nature and strong interpersonal skills in collaborating, communicating, and working with other senior managers and staff (including site management team), local and international subcontractors, US military representatives, and local officials as required.
- Duties may involve outdoor work with potential exposure to desert climatic conditions.
- Scheduled work hours up to 72 hours per week.
- Must currently possess, or be eligible for, a SECRET clearance.
