Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

  • Maximize sales volume and minimize stales while achieving distribution targets.
  • Implement agreed merchandising standards and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Collect accounts receivable and complete daily debriefings with the supervisor.
  • Provide the supervisor with up‑to‑date market information to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Attend training courses designed to improve professionalism and customer service.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks, keeping the sales vehicle clean and roadworthy.
  • Ensure timely supply of ready‑to‑ship customer orders and maintain approved stock levels.
  • Implement in‑store merchandising plans and advise on competitor activity.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain a high standard of driving and observe all driving regulations.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs); failure to meet required results may lead to disciplinary action.
