Job description

eSense, a leading provider of innovative IT solutions and services, is seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Solutions and Services Presales Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building technical relationships with potential customers, providing essential demos and support to the sales team, and preparing detailed proposals and RFPs. Basic Function and Principles

  1. Build and maintain technical relationships with potential customers.
  2. Provide required demos and assistance to potential customers.
  3. Support the Sales Team with customer-facing technical pre-sales assistance.
  4. Prepare detailed proposals and RFPs.
  5. Assist the sales team by providing estimated project costs.
  6. Provide initial delivery plans in proposals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Support in achieving departmental financial objectives.
  2. Develop business in the most optimal & cost-effective manner.
  3. Provide estimated costing for new projects considering all available factors.
  4. Provide Onsite/Offsite demos to potential clients upon request.
  5. Answer the client’s business and technical questions.
  6. Assist clients in understanding how to use our systems to meet their business needs.
  7. Help clients select the appropriate modules/systems for their needs.
  8. Gather requirements from client meetings to better understand their needs.
  9. Analyze customer requirements and change requests during demos and meetings.
  10. Prepare onsite/offsite demos to address client needs as directed by the sales team or outlined in clients’ questionnaires.
  11. Analyze client needs from meetings, demos, and questionnaires to provide the required documents.
  12. Write well-structured proposals and RFPs in Arabic and English, ensuring they cover client needs and are delivered on time.
  13. Stay up to date with product changes, new features, and new designs.
  14. Demonstrate proficiency in every module of our products to address any client scenario or question.
  15. Possess strong knowledge of the business behind our products and their modules to provide consultancy to clients.
  16. Ensure all demo tools are prepared, up to date, and ready when needed.
  17. Engage with customers to interpret their needs and provide advice on prospective products that align with their demands.
  18. Proactively scope technical solutions to address customer requirements, assess met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  19. Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within customer firms and adapt solutions as needed to ensure appropriate support.
  20. Coordinate closely with the product team, internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customer business requirements.
  21. Provide coaching and professional development to team member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  22. Obtain certification in the technologies provided by the firm.
  23. Familiarize with the licensing models of provided technologies.
  24. Utilize vendor resources to develop solutions and assist customers.
  25. Align and coordinate with peers from the vendor’s side.
  26. Maintain well-organized documentation of quotations, orders, and communications.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Business, Communication, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in Arabic (writing, reading, and speaking).
  3. Proficiency in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
  4. Experience in writing proposals and RFPs.
  5. Excellent presentation skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  7. Problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work well under pressure.
  9. Minimum 2 years of experience in Presales, Sales, or technical roles.
