PR & Media Relations Officer
Job description
PR & Media Relations Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement PR and media relations strategies.
- Manage media relations and press releases to ensure positive coverage.
- Coordinate PR events and campaigns to engage target audiences.
Media Relations & Communication:
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts.
- Handle crisis communication and media inquiries professionally.
- Prepare PR reports and presentations to evaluate campaign success.
Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze PR metrics to optimize performance.
- Stay updated on PR trends and best practices to enhance strategies.
- Generate detailed reports to inform future PR initiatives.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, communications) to ensure cross-channel consistency.
- Proactively suggest new PR tactics and opportunities to enhance brand storytelling.
Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in PR and media relations.
- Strong understanding of media relations and PR strategies.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple PR projects simultaneously.
- Experience with PR analytics.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships.
- Experience in crisis communication is a plus.
