Job summary

Coefficient Alliances & Ventures (Coefftalent) seeks an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee and optimize joint ventures across industrial and energy sectors in Saudi Arabia. You’ll conduct financial evaluations, oversee performance reviews, and guide strategic investments in power, oil & gas, manufacturing, and related industries.

You will participate in board discussions, produce MIS reports, map growth opportunities, and build a pipeline of partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an MBA in Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, or investment management.
• Proven track record in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or oil & gas sectors.
• Must have previously formed or managed at least one joint venture or merger & acquisition in previous organizations.
• Ability to assess project viability and drive long-term value creation.
• Experience with MIS reporting and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency in conducting market research and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial evaluation of investment and joint venture opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver monthly reviews of joint venture financial performance and reporting to senior management.
• Escalate critical issues that require senior management's immediate attention and decision-making.
• Monitor portfolio performance across power, oil & gas, manufacturing, and related sectors.
• Participate in board meetings and conduct daily reviews of joint venture operations.
• Prepare detailed MIS reports for the division.
• Conduct market surveys and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Audit joint venture operations and conduct financial analysis to ensure compliance and performance.
• Identify and evaluate potential joint venture opportunities in the manufacturing sector.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
• Assess project viability and long-term value creation potential.
• Support expansion initiatives across core sectors.
• Initially function as an individual contributor with board support.
• Gradually build and lead a dedicated team to manage portfolio operations.
• Provide strategic guidance and operational oversight across multiple joint ventures.
