Job description

Octopus by RTG is seeking a dynamic and driven PMO Consultant to join a reputable consultancy firm expanding its team in Riyadh.

As part of our consultancy division, you will work closely with senior consultants and clients to identify business needs, develop strategic solutions, and support effective implementation across diverse industries.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement PMO policies, processes, and methodologies to improve project management maturity across the organization.
  2. Provide strategic guidance and oversight on project governance, risk management, and compliance.
  3. Support project managers and teams in aligning projects with business objectives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
  4. Establish and track key project performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor success and efficiency.
  5. Facilitate resource planning, project prioritization, and portfolio management activities.
  6. Conduct training and mentoring sessions to enhance project management capabilities.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and project outcomes.
  8. Optimize project reporting and documentation to enhance transparency and decision-making.
  9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in project management or PMO roles, preferably in consulting or enterprise environments.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-PgMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Monday.com.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
