Job description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

Position: Plumber

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal. You must ensure that work complies with relevant codes. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining and keeping all automatic flushing valves operational
2. Maintaining and cleaning all fat traps within kitchen areas
3. Ensuring regular maintenance and the use of chemicals for cleaning soil and stack pipes
4. Keeping roof-level ventilation vent pipes and roof rainwater outlets clear at all times
5. Reviewing building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts
6. Selecting appropriate tools and equipment, including pipe types and sizes
7. Locating and marking connection and fixture positions
8. Installing supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment
9. Installing, repairing, and maintaining underground storm and sanitary water piping systems, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and conditioners

Skills, Education, & Qualifications

You should ideally have an apprenticeship as a Plumber and previous experience in a similar role. Ability to work under policies and regulations, good physical condition, and proficiency in English are essential. You should also be capable of fault detection and system rectification.
