Job description

Role Purpose

Responsible for providing timely and accurate administration services to all plant based departments, in particular where duties involve the need for a fluent Arabic speaker and writer. The incumbent in this role will also deal with government departments such as customs, the ministry of the interior and the ministry of commerce. Only a Saudi National employee is able to represent BCL at these departments.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

  • Carry out the requirements for the annual approval of import of raw materials. These documents need to be prepared in Arabic, Forming and maintaining employee records.
  • Work with the supply chain function to clear any shipments at the Airport & at the Sea Port. Take the responsibility for preparing the clearance documents in Arabic before the shipment arrives.
  • Be the responsible person for following up any custom clearance delays by visiting in person the Sea port. Coordinate with the supply chain manager to ensure all paperwork.
  • Communicating with external partners.
  • Prepare and arrange the necessary approval from the SFDA for shipments by completing Arabic applications and following up on this process.
  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.
  • Deal with concerned ministries when required, for example, customs, the ministry of the interior and the ministry of commerce. Prepare any relevant Arabic documentation, have letters attested etc, Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee information, i.e. holiday and sick days taken.
  • Organize Travel Arrangements and bookings for any international visitors to the Plant. Reviewing and renewing BCL policies and legal compliance.
  • Oversee Plant Reception and Canteen services, ensuring mail, courier services, stationary ordering and canteen services are provided as per service agreements. Organize for regular collection and delivery of mail between Corporate and the Plant.
  • Support the plant manger by dealing with Government authorities to ensure that all plant related licenses are current and are renewed before expiry dates.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time by various departments.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor BA, or any relevant major.
