Job summary

A leading energy firm is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations of a large-scale Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant in Saudi Arabia. This senior role involves leading staff, ensuring compliance, and developing operational strategies for safety and profitability. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in power plant management and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering. The position is site-based in the Taiba region of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• KSA national is a must.
• 15 years of professional experience with at least 10 years in O&M of CCGT power plants.
• 10+ years in senior management roles within power plant operations.

Overview

I am representing a client in the power and energy sector seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations of a large-scale Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior role within a flagship IPP/PPP project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full operations and maintenance of a CCGT power plant
• Lead staff mobilization, training, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder relations
• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure safety, reliability, and profitability
• Report directly to the O&M Company Board of Directors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• KSA national is a must
• CCGT Power Plant | IPP/PPP Projects experience
• 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in O&M of CCGT power plants
• 10+ years in senior management roles within power plant operations
• Strong expertise in LTSA/LTPA contracts, PPAs, and project agreements
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
