Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Planning Engineer to join our Riyadh-based engagement on DGDA, where you will perform various project control assignments requiring basic techniques and analyses.

What you'll be doing:
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and providing planning and scheduling services for engineering, procurement, and construction activities on assigned projects.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain planning/scheduling functions on larger projects.

  • Gather, compile, and analyze data on factors affecting land use.

  • Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate meetings and workshops for involvement and consensus-building.

  • Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.

  • Scheduling:

  • Track and resolve scheduling and planning problems.

  • Evaluate and forecast project status against baseline schedules.

  • Assess impacts of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.

  • Report schedule status to project management and clients.

  • Understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts.

  • Develop and maintain critical path networks and bar charts.

  • Customize project control systems to meet specific project needs.

  • Collect historical data for future planning and forecasting.

What requirements you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of related work experience.

  • Basic engineering knowledge in mechanical, civil, or related fields. Familiarity with software like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
