Responsibilities:




  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with project managers and key stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.

  • Create and manage project schedules using industry-standard scheduling tools.

  • Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.

  • Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives.

  • Work closely with project teams to ensure optimal resource utilization.

  • Identify and assess potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Generate regular project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highlight key milestones, challenges, and recommended actions.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to optimize project efficiency.

  • Participate in project review meetings to assess progress and address concerns.

  • Evaluate the impact of changes to project scope and timelines.

  • Implement changes effectively and communicate adjustments to relevant parties.

  • Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

  • Propose enhancements to planning and scheduling processes.

Minimum Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction or engineering projects.

  • Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Thorough understanding of project management principles.

  • Experience in large-scale construction projects.

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts.

  • Professional certification in project management (PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
