- Assist in the creation, updating, and management of project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Collaborate with project teams to collect necessary data for project planning and schedule management.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide timely updates to the project team.
- Support the resource allocation process to ensure that the right personnel, equipment, and materials are in place to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in preparing and submitting weekly and monthly progress reports, including timeline assessments and forecasts.
- Help conduct time impact analyses and schedule risk assessments as required.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other external parties to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including schedules, plans, and change orders.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to planning or scheduling to ensure project objectives are met.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- 2 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or coordination.
- Basic knowledge of planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
